Christopher Morales, Esq.

Associate Attorney

For over ten years, Attorney Morales has worked as an attorney in the areas of immigration, as well as divorce and custody, auto accidents, and criminal defense. Through it all, his true passion has always been working to help immigrants navigate the complex U.S. immigration system as they apply for benefits or fight against possible deportation. Chris has handled hundreds of cases before the US Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Immigration Courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals.

As a second-generation immigrant, Attorney Morales grew up in a bilingual home and is perfectly fluent in English and Spanish. He understands that communication is key to great legal representation and finds tremendous satisfaction in not only getting favorable results for his immigration clients, but in explaining the legal process to them and demystifying immigration laws. Attorney Morales understands that keeping clients informed allows them to be a key player in the decision-making process, so the client feels they are in control of their case.

Attorney Morales received a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University-Idaho and a Juris Doctorate from Hamline University School of Law. He is licensed to practice federal immigration law nationwide, though he obtained his bar license from the state of Utah. He is also admitted to practice before the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.


Linda Pineda

Office Manager

Linda, a native of Mexico City, serves as the Office Manager at the firm, where she leverages her bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish to enhance communication and foster collaboration. With a career devoted primarily to customer service, Linda exemplifies determination and energy in all her endeavors. Her optimistic outlook not only motivates her team but also contributes to a positive workplace atmosphere. Passionate about guiding and supporting others, Linda thrives in collaborative environments, where she can make a meaningful impact on both colleagues and clients alike. Outside of work, she cherishes her time with her daughter, finding joy in creating lasting memories together. Linda’s commitment to service and her vibrant personality makes her an invaluable asset to the firm.


Roger Pena Chaves

Intake Specialist

Roger is an Intake Specialist at the firm in charge of scheduling new consultations for the firm. Roger is from Colombia and has a background in administrative assistance and sales. Roger enjoys being able to assist those in need navigate the immigration process. As the first point of contact for the firm, Roger strives to maintain good communication with potential clients, as well as compassion for their situation. Roger speaks Spanish and English and lives in Cali, Colombia.


Alexa Chavez

Finance Specialist

Alexa is the Finance Specialist at the firm who was born and lives in Mexico. She is currently pursuing a degree to become an Engineer in Business Management. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. She has experience with sales, supply chain management and customer service. She is very trustworthy and honest in everything she does and is always eager to help others. She is very capable of adapting to new situations and a firm believer that if she is not going to do something to her very best ability then she will not do it at all.


Cassandra Diaz

Communications Specialist (USCIS)

Cassandra specializes in customer service and has experience in the legal field, focusing on immigration cases She is skilled in managing client documents, preparing forms, and following up on cases. Cassandra is known for her attention to detail and positive attitude. She enjoys learning new things and works well in a team. With her strong background and commitment to helping clients, Cassandra is from Guadalajara, Jalisco.


Denisse Vallejo

Client Communication and Document Specialist (USCIS)

Denisse is a Client Communication and Document Specialist with the firm. She was born in the city of Xalapa in Veracruz, Mexico. She studied Business Management. Because of her passion for helping others, she began volunteering for different organizations. This eventually led to her work in the immigration field.  She has spent most of the time assisting attorneys in preparing U Visa. Denisse’s passion is to be able to help immigrants improve their lives. At the firm, Denisse assists paralegals and attorneys with document collection and communicating with clients. In addition to her professional activities, Denisse enjoys traveling, learning about new cultures, and reading. She speaks English, Spanish and is learning French.


Kimberly Rosete

Client Communication and Document Specialist (USCIS)

Kimberly was born and raised in Acapulco, Mexico. She speaks English and Spanish, and she has been working in the area of client communications for over three years. Kimberly has a passion for helping immigrants. Aside from her experiences in the immigration field, she had the opportunity to teach English to immigrants in Houston, Tx, surrounded by different nationalities, where she reinforced her passion to help people and she knew that she wanted to dedicate her life helping others to accomplish their dreams and unite families. Kimberly has developed a greater understanding of how important it is to be able to communicate with others, especially those who are going through difficult times.  She has developed so much empathy and strives to work extra hard to accomplish our client’s goal. In her free time Kimberly enjoys learning new things, cooking desserts, painting, or reading a book. She feels so grateful to be surrounded by her family and her cat.


Antonio Ramirez

Client Communication and Document Specialist (USCIS)

Antonio is a communication and document specialist. He was born in Ciudad Juarez but lives in Oaxaca. As an immigrant whose father worked in the U.S., Antonio understands how crucial the quality and humanity of legal services are for immigrants. Antonio believes all clients deserve excellent service. In his spare time, Antonio is a biologist and tourist guide. He spends his free time giving tours in the state of Oaxaca and documenting the culture. He loves to read about the history of art and visit museums.


Nadia Vargas

Paralegal (USCIS), Supervising Paralegal  

Nadia Vargas was born in Durango, Mexico, and raised in Chicago, IL. As an Immigration Paralegal for over 10 years, Nadia has extensive knowledge and experience in all matters regarding the immigration process. Her experience includes working side by side with numerous immigration attorneys across the country, as well as operating her own immigration paralegal company in Chicago, IL. Nadia current serves as the Supervising Paralegal with the firm. As an immigrant herself, she continuously strives to provide clients with exceptional customer service, thus making the immigration process smooth and straightforward. Her extreme passion for the immigration field has been cultivated by helping others, and customer satisfaction is her top priority. Nadia attended Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL, and is fluent in both English and Spanish.


Yumersy Noboa

Paralegal (USCIS)

Yumersy is a Paralegal at the firm. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, and raised in the Dominican Republic. She is a certified Paralegal and Notary Public for the State of Florida. For over a decade, she has provided invaluable assistance to immigration attorneys and law firms, helping to navigate the complexities of various immigration cases. Yumersy offers seamless communication and exceptional service to clients from diverse backgrounds. As an immigrant herself, she is deeply passionate about assisting those who come to the United States in pursuit of their dreams. Her personal journey fuels her dedication to helping those who are going through the complexity of their immigration process. She holds Paralegal Studies credentials from the University of South Florida (USF) and has pursued specialized education in immigration and legal matters. She is also fluent English and Spanish.
Additionally, she has a solid foundation in Human Resources, which complements her customer services skills


Fatima Somera

Paralegal (USCIS)

Fatima is a Paralegal with the firm.  She earned her degree of Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Baguio, and Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Cordilleras in Baguio City, Philippines. Before joining The Law Office of Rosina C. Stambaugh, Fatima worked as an Immigration Paralegal for respectable U.S. Law Firms, handling various types of immigration cases and achieving many successes for firms’ clients. She truly believes that America is a nation of immigrants, and she is dedicated to helping them navigate the complexities of the United States’ immigration system and achieving the best outcome for their cases. Fatima finds delight in traveling with her family and has lived in the United States. Currently, she is based in the Philippines, and is fluent in English, Filipino, and Ilocano dialect.


Caressa Ma. Krisel E. Rafols

Paralegal (USCIS)

Caressa is a paralegal at the firm.  She works with our clients applying with affirmative benefits. Caressa graduated and received her law degree from the University of San Agustin in the Philippines. In addition to being an attorney in the Philippines, she has worked as a legal editor for almost 3 years. As an Immigration paralegal for more than 4 years for US-based Immigration Law firms, she has extensive knowledge of the immigration system. She enjoys working with immigrants and assisting clients in achieving their goals. Caressa currently lives in the Philippines and speaks English and Filipino


Alyssa Buck

Paralegal (EOIR)

Alyssa is a paralegal at the firm. She was born and raised in Buffalo, NY… Go Bills! She received her bachelor’s degree from St. John Fisher University in Rochester, NY. Alyssa spent a semester studying abroad in Granada, Spain and loves to travel.  While growing up, through her local church, Alyssa volunteered at different refugee organizations around Buffalo. This is where she discovered her passion of helping others, and helping those committed to starting or continuing their lives in the United States. Before switching over to a career in law, Alyssa was a Bilingual Special Education Math teacher for 4 years.  She was able to take the skills she developed in the classroom and bring them to the firm. Outside of work Alyssa enjoys taking advantage of Buffalo’s cold winters to practice snowboarding. Alyssa is fluent in English and Spanish.


Esthefani Benalcazar

Paralegal (EOIR)

Esthefani Benalcazar is a dedicated professional with a passion for immigration law, rooted in her own immigrant background. She graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Political Science, setting the foundation for her career as an immigration paralegal. Esthefani specializes in removal cases, driven by a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate complex legal challenges. Outside of her professional pursuits, Esthefani finds joy in maintaining an active lifestyle, frequently seen at the gym refining her fitness regimen. She also cherishes moments spent at the beach, finding solace in the tranquility of coastal landscapes. Above all, Esthefani values quality time with her family, cherishing each opportunity to create lasting memories together. Esthefani is bilingual in English and Spanish.


Ana Gonzalez

Client Communication and Document Specialist (EOIR)

Ana is a client communication and document specialist with the firm’s court department. Her primary roles is to assist the firm’s clients who are currently in removal proceedings. Ana is originally from Mexico but spent much of her life in Texas.  She is currently pursuing a degree in political science with aspirations of going to law school. In her free time, she loves listening to music, cooking and spending time with her family. Ana strives to provide satisfactory customer support, as she empathizes with the firm’s clients and wants to offer her support in any way that she can. Ana speaks Spanish and English.


Liz Vazquez-Lopez

Client Communication and Document Specialist (EOIR)

Liz Vazquez-Lopez is a client communication and document specialist with the firm’s court department where she maintains communication with clients and assists the paralegals and attorneys.  She is originally from Michoacán, Mexico, and brings over a year of experience in the field of immigration. She began her career as a legal intake specialist and has since progressed in the field. Liz has always had a deep passion for immigration, and it is this passion as well as her personal experiences as a first-generation immigrant that allows her to empathize with clients and connect with their stories on a meaningful level. Liz strives to ensure that each client feels cared for and understood, offering a personal touch to every case. Liz is fluent in English and Spanish.
